Awesome guys! Thanks for all the comments! As far as my roofie sketches... I'm down for whatever way makes it the funniest... Which I think will play out when we are doing it. I love both the delusional girl and party blackouts Haven't looked at Jon's song yet but will. The only thing I can maybe offer would be a friend who likes editing and probably would be into helping us... Otherwise I'm not much help with cameras, etc. I can bring snacks for us! Hahaha. I asked my sister, she said we could look into schools and see if there are any students willing to help us? Just a thought?

If we want to make it longer like Zippy suggested. I would start off with the girl in her bedroom and she sees the facebook invite and is like ugh no, or ugh lame and we see her decline the facebook invite.
Then cut to the party, then cut back to her being like dammit, I should have gone..
The Party Illusion Blackout Sketch
Scene begins with girl at her computer looking at facebook invite to lame looking party.
Girl at Home: ugh, lame.
We see girl hit decline on invite.
Cut to house party with loud music, everyone is just staring at their phones looking bored.
Party goer: Hey guys picture time!
Everyone instantly acts like they are having time of their life the second the photo is done they are back to their phones.
Cut to Girl at home scrolling through instagram, sees party photos.
Girl at home: Damnit, I should have gone.

Parry Illusion: I like the original way its written more than the re-write above b/c in the rewrite she is correct that it was a lame party and for some reason that distracts me from the main joke/satire... (the satire being that people put their best face when posting to social media and we all fall for it, which then ruins our lives, makes us depressed, we end up hating ourselves, etc.)

Hi All! I hope that everyone is having a good week. Okay, so here's what we've got so far: 1. We are still planning to rehearse in the evening on June 26 and shoot all day June 27 2. We're penciling in Julie's apartment in Santa Monica for our set 3. The two sketches we'll shoot this time are "Binge" and "Party." Just FYI... we've got a lot of great ideas for blackouts, and there is no reason that we should not shoot all of them. The reason that "Party" was chosen this time around is that we can use the same set we're using for "Binge." Also, we'll be more democratic about the decision making process next time. This time, Jon, Lisa, and I just wanted to get decisions made so that we get the shoot done and keep our momentum going. 4. Jon and Matt are working together to find a time to record the song for "Binge." 5. WE NEED A VIDEOGRAPHER AND A SOUND PERSON. So far, our resources have not panned out. If no one has ideas on these I will post to the Greenroom, but if someone in the group knows someone who is good for either job that would be the best situation. Personally, I have camera guys, but they will charge us more than we probably want to spend. I also have a friend who has sound guys, but it's a friend-or-a-friend kind of thing, so no idea if we'll get a price break or not. So that's where we stand. Please make sure that your schedule still allows for you to join us on the 26th and 27th. If it does not, please let us know ASAP. The writers of the two sketches we're using will have a heavy hand in casting, so watch for that to come out soon. IF YOU HAVE CAMERA OR SOUND RESOURCES PLEASE SPEAK UP ASAP! Looking forward to it! You guys are all awesome!!! Kat

I'm talking with my sound guy. I know we are shooting the sketch, but what blackout(s) are we shooting. He needs to know how much he is going to be running around/switching locations etc? Trying to be able to give him a feel for how long the shoot is going to take and how much he'll need to do.

Both shoots will be taking place in the same location so no running around necessary, yes?
